Thomas recently made his role debut as il Conte Almaviva in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro with Dorset Opera Festival.
In The Stage, George Hall wrote of the production ““It sounds good too, with some top quality vocal casting…Baritone Thomas Humphreys’ dynamic Count, constantly shifting between barely controlled lust and self-righteous anger, meets his vocal match in bass-baritone Ossian Huskinson’s likeable Figaro. Indeed, all four of these artists makes a marked success of their assignments.”
The production was directed by Paul Carr and conducted by Jose-Miguel Esandi.
